Oh What A Tangled Web . . . Spiders Falsely Bitten By Gangrene Stigma

Patients with skin conditions ranging from cancer through to fungal and bacterial infections are being misdiagnosed as victims of white-tailed spiders. A study soon to be published in the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Journal looked at all cases of skin infections in the Newcastle area attributed to the spiders in the past two years.
